The TravelBrands story actually started 31 years ago when 3 brothers – Enzo, Joe and Frank DeMarinis – started a travel agency called Belair Travel in 1983. Offering a strong focus on service, Belair quickly grew and it wasn’t long before it was purchased by one of the largest tour operators in the country, a company that later became Thomas Cook Canada

Following a brief hiatus from the travel industry, the brothers returned in 2004 with RedTag Vacations, which they grew to become one of Canada’s largest and most dominant players in the OTA (online travel agency) space. In Spring 2013, the story came full circle when the brothers found themselves in the position to acquire the entire Thomas Cook Canada business and create a new ‘super distribution’ model of both retail and wholesale brands that includes the likes of Sunquest, Holiday House, Exotik Tours, and their original company, Belair Travel.
